Drainage, access & bridges

Contributor videos from Chris Off Roads describe drainage, access tracks and bridge work across the land. The current status hasn't been officially set out.

The work behind everything else

Before barns and events, the land itself needed work. Through early 2026 Chris Off Roads (Chris Tate) filmed a run of groundwork videos on drainage, access roads and concrete.

31 January 2026 — The BIG dig

Digging starts on a new drainage system. The video says a new tank had been installed and the crew moved on to the inlet pipework, relocating an old cattle trailer to improve access. Gee and Fin joined the crew on site.

2 February 2026 — Let's dig

The drainage work continues so the on-site static caravan, with its bathroom, can actually be used by the people working there. Chris also mentions plans to tidy the site and, eventually, take down some of the old barns.

6 March 2026 — Big equipment

A concrete day: the crew fill timber shutter boxes and concrete over a drain and duct in a trench across an access road, so it can be backfilled and firmed up.

Off-road on the farm

Off-road machinery features heavily in these videos. There's no confirmed public off-road experience for visitors.
