The 110 Mega Barn

A steel-frame barn designed, supplied and built by Graham Heath Construction, a Cheshire-based maker of agricultural buildings. Plans were finalised on site in June 2026, foundations went in in July, steel arrived in August, and in late September the builder said the finishing line was in sight.

What is the 110 Mega Barn?

The 110 Mega Barn is the biggest building project on The 110 Farm so far: a large steel-frame barn on the 110 acres in Gee Cross, Hyde. It is being made and put up by Graham Heath Construction, a UK manufacturer of steel-framed agricultural, equestrian and industrial buildings based in Wrenbury, Cheshire, trading since 2003.

Build timeline

8 June 2026 — Plans finalised. Graham Heath Construction met Chris on site "to finalise the plans and see everything coming together". Their post jokes that a few ideas were added, "including the all-important fireman's pole and slide".

7 July 2026 — Foundations. The builder reported that foundations were "well underway" and thanked Chris and Tom for filming the progress.

August 2026 — Steel on site. A Chris Off Roads video, "The 110 Mega Barn is now on site (Some Assembly Required)", says the concrete foundations were in, the steelwork had been fabricated and the building had arrived ready to assemble. On 18 August the builder posted that the building was "fully loaded and ready to go".

7 September 2026 — Going up. Drone footage shared by the builder showed how far the structure had come.

22 September 2026 — Nearly there. "The 110 Mega Barn is nearly there!" — the builder said it was getting closer to completion, "with the finishing line now in sight".

Who's involved

Graham Heath Construction designs, supplies and builds the barn. Chris Off Roads (Chris Tate) films much of the build on his YouTube channel, and Tom covers it on Life of Tom. In the on-site video Chris describes it as the result of years of planning and a huge investment.

Still to be announced

The barn's exact size, its completion date, what it will be used for and whether visitors will ever go inside haven't been officially announced. This page will be updated when they are.
