A new Highland bull joins the herd

The secret arrival revealed

Life of Tom’s 16 October 2026 vlog reveals a Highland bull joining the farm’s herd. This resolves the unidentified arrival teased in earlier updates. It is separate from the two rehomed ducks introduced to Lake Joe in the 15 October preparation vlog.

A name still to come

Tom proposes a QR code linking to a website naming vote, with choices submitted by the team. This review supplies no candidate names, approved poll destination, voting window, rules or result. Follow the farm’s official Instagram for confirmed details; this fan site is not running an official vote.

Future calves are a hope, not an announcement

The bull’s arrival is intended to enable breeding. Possible calves in about nine months are discussed, but no pregnancy or due date is confirmed. The footage does not establish public feeding, touching, petting sessions or rides.

20 October update: four cattle and future plans

Tom describes all four Highland cattle together in the 20 October vlog and discusses the bull’s interest in Dorothy. Breeding is hoped for, but pregnancy remains unconfirmed: there is no confirmed calf count or arrival date. A pregnancy check is discussed for a few months later, not a verified appointment or result. Animal sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Tom explicitly says in the 20 October vlog that the bull has not been named and the naming vote still needs to be arranged. No active poll, candidate list, deadline or result is confirmed. Follow the farm’s official Instagram for any later announcement; this fan site is not running a vote.

Improved animal housing and handling arrangements are among Tom’s planning intentions for 2027. He says the farm lacks a proper cattle crush and herding area. No approved design, budget, contractor, planning permission, installation or completion date is supplied. These plans are separate from the existing event Mega Barn and do not update its interior, power or shutter status.
