The 2026 pumpkin patch comes to a close

The 2026 pumpkin season is complete after eight event days. The 26 October finale looks back at the final weekend, a completed photo display, the Horizon winner’s visit and an announced online release of remaining event merchandise.

Eight days, one unforgettable season

The 2026 pumpkin patch has finished after eight event days across two weeks. The finale published 26 October follows days six, seven and eight, the team’s celebration and the following day’s outro; individual scenes were filmed before publication. This is a fan’s retrospective, not an announcement of a new public opening.

The work behind the last weekend

Rain, mud and localised flooding made the final weekend demanding. The team spread fresh straw around busy areas, food traders adapted their setups and the barn provided welcome shelter. Maintained routes were not mud-free or uniformly accessible. A straw-spreading machine chain problem was reported, with no completed repair confirmed.

A fallen tree briefly obstructed the approach lane near the car park on the final day. The team reported that Joe cleared it. This was a resolved incident in the film, not a current road-closure notice; land boundaries have not been independently checked.

A picture book of pumpkin-patch memories

The hinged visitor-photo display was completed and used during the event, opening into pages like a picture book. The scales, maize routes, food traders and large pumpkins were part of the season’s story. Photo-booth use during the team celebration does not establish visitor prices or ticket inclusions. Permission is required before reusing visitor photographs; social tagging and inclusion on the wall are not permission for this website.

The Horizon winner’s visit

The Horizon golden-ticket winner attended with family and received the pumpkin-patch VIP visit, including a personal tour with Tom and time with the team. Those arrangements were prize-specific, not a bookable public tour or vehicle ride. A separate return visit remains to be arranged when schedules align; future merchandise commitments are not all delivered. Vendor pizza tickets and the motorbike handover remain separate stories.

Turnout: Tom’s estimate, not an audited count

Before the final day, Tom estimated around 15,000–16,000 visitors for this year’s patch, compared with about 7,500 last year, and described two extra event days. This was a conversational season estimate before the last day, not an audited final gate count. The earlier roughly 12,000-so-far figure and historical ticket-release counts refer to different points and must not be added together.

Remaining merchandise: an online announcement

In the closing update Alice announces an online release of remaining event stock, including pumpkin clothing, cream and children’s jumpers, beanies, key rings, sticker packs and some Horizon T-shirts. The official shop at https://the110.co/ is the authority for actual listings, availability, sizes and prices. No live quantities, delivery promises or Christmas-jumper launch are verified here.

The wider farm story continues

The bull is still unnamed in this source and a naming poll remains planned; no candidates, deadline or result are confirmed. Bee expansion is an aspiration, not completed hive growth. Barn event use does not confirm permanent mains, final fit-out, complete shutter repairs or sign-off. Movember participation is encouraged from 1 November 2026 with the earlier £110,000 community target, not a verified raised total; no campaign destination is confirmed. The separate Hazelhurst clubhouse fundraiser and a proposed pumpkin auction are not established farm donation offers.

The finale thanks visitors, neighbours, family, friends, food traders, invited school visitors and everyone who helped. Another announcement is teased through official Instagram and a future vlog, but no extra picking, public opening, 2027 tickets, Christmas event or booking dates are confirmed. The season is complete; the farm project and official online shop have not closed.

27 October follow-up: the teaser identified

The full 2026 pumpkin patch remains completed and closed. In the vlog published 27 October 2026, Tom announces a separate small pumpkin-and-merchandise pop-up planned by Chris and Joe while he is away. Dates, hours, admission or booking requirements, entry charges, pumpkin prices, parking/payment, exact public entrance, toilets and access arrangements are unverified. Check the official farm Instagram before travelling; this is not a reopening or extension of the full patch. The new story “After the patch: a pop-up plan and a 28.5kg pumpkin” records the full follow-up. Earlier unspecified teaser remarks in this retrospective now have this clarification.
