The final preparations before opening day

Final paths, signage and photo spots, new ducks and sheep, and reconfirmed parking and wheelbarrow arrangements before the public arrives.

The final push before The 110 Farm's pumpkin event brought food trucks, fresh signage and a long list of finishing touches. Paths were levelled and fresh stone laid, while the small maize maze was compacted and test-walked ahead of further straw dressing. Photo areas and displays were still being arranged late into the evening.

There were new animal arrivals too. Two rehomed ducks were introduced to Lake Joe, although they soon wandered away from the pond. The Hazelhursts also brought sheep to the event setup. Around the lake, the team began organising posts and fencing along the waterside route.

The vlog repeated the practical arrangements for visitors: Unity Mill parking costs £3 cash with correct change for a maximum two-hour stay, while the farm visit lasts 90 minutes. Wheelbarrows help move pumpkins around the site but must stay at the farm. £1 carrying bags are offered for the journey back to the car, subject to availability.

Honey was planned in small allocations of seven jars for each half-hour arrival slot. The team also received beanies, worked on the shop and continued preparing the event's photo spots. With some finishing touches left for the morning, the next vlog would show the public arriving and the event getting underway.
