Week two brings big pumpkins, scales and more farm memories

Week-two visitor days are underway in the 23 October vlog: large pumpkins move downhill, the scales are presented as ready for weighing and photos, and Tom and Alice share a dated operating update and transport-disruption booking advice.

Based on Life of Tom’s vlog published 23 October 2026. The visitor-day sequence describes the first day of week two; the later outro addresses Friday viewers and looks ahead to Saturday and Sunday. Publication date does not date every filmed scene.

23 October: week two is underway

In the vlog published 23 October 2026, Tom and Alice say the patch remains open, food vendors are serving and plenty of pumpkins remain. This dated statement is not a guarantee of operation in all weather, current stock, extra tickets or walk-up entry. Check newer official notices and your booking before travelling.

Big pumpkins moved downhill

The team moves many large pumpkins from the upper corner towards the lower/front picking area during week two, reducing carrying distances. Tom explains that the newly bare upper corner reflects this relocation, not the whole patch selling out. There is no quantified total or blanket accessible-route guarantee; outdoor ground can still be muddy and uneven.

Scales ready for pumpkin weighing and photos

In the vlog published 23 October 2026, Tom presents the cleaned and painted scales as ready for visitors to weigh pumpkins and take photographs. This advances the earlier collection and preparation milestone; calibration and completed use by a particular visitor are not established. No price-per-kilogram scheme, competition or body-weighing attraction is announced. Check the farm’s current notices before relying on availability.

Transport disruption and time-slot help

In the 23 October vlog, Tom and Alice ask visitors affected by cancelled trains or difficulty reaching their booked slot to email the team using the official event contact details to arrange a time-slot change, subject to the team’s confirmation. This is not an automatic right to arrive at another time or on another day; refund and cancellation terms are not established by the vlog. Use contact details supplied with your booking, or ask @the110farm for the correct event contact route. No new event email address is verified here, and the shop support email is not a verified booking-help address.

Bring wellies, waterproofs, warm layers and suitable carrying bags. The previously sourced £1 farm-bag offer remains subject to stock; wheelbarrows must remain on site. Parking at Unity Mill costs £3 cash with correct change for a separate two-hour maximum; farm sessions last 90 minutes. Keep routes, vendor fronts, entrances and neighbours’ driveways clear.

Barn shutters and neighbourhood feedback

At lock-up Tom praises powered shutter operation and references a 300-metre cable. The power source, permanent mains installation and complete resolution of previous faults remain unverified. Tom also relays the entrance team’s report that invited neighbours attended with their letters and gave positive feedback; these specific invitations are not free admission for all residents.

More memories, not new guarantees

Food traders prepare for visitors and a bee display features during setup. Menus, dietary provision, prices and ticket inclusions remain unverified, and the display does not change honey-stock or opening-day allocation information. The hinged photo-wall extension is still not newly confirmed installed. Meeting Tom is not guaranteed, and impromptu queues are not a bookable meet-and-greet.

The trader’s free-pizza golden tickets are separate from earlier giveaways: distribution, redemption and fulfilment terms are not fully established. No new future event dates, next-year ticket sale, public afterparty or Christmas offer is supplied.
