Farm progress: the barn becomes a working space

The farm work continues while Tom is away. In Chris Tate’s 5 November update, the new barn is already proving useful as a clean, dry workspace, with saws set up and timber being prepared inside (5:01–5:41; 8:57–9:29; 24:55–25:26).

Container cladding progresses

Chris and Joe cut and fit timber to the container exterior (5:49–7:39; 12:42–13:21; 18:46–22:22). Chris reports the front clad by the end of the day, while a remaining large door is still to do (22:54–23:23; 24:31–24:46). The container’s function is unverified; the entire container project is not complete.

Stone work and post-event organisation

Stone arrives and Joe spreads it around the approach area (10:38–12:34; 18:46–19:22; 24:31–24:46). Not all three discussed loads are verified delivered. The team tidies and organises after the pumpkin event (0:21–0:53), preparing for what comes next.

In use, not finished

Chris and Joe operate the barn doors by remote (1:08–1:58; 10:11–10:38). The barn is being used, but its wider fit-out is still a continuing project: final layouts, mezzanine drawings, floors, walls and services remain ahead in Chris’s account (25:43–26:22). This does not establish permanent mains, final commissioning or operational public space.

What this does not announce

Fence work is pending and weather-dependent (26:08–26:22); the next work schedule is unsettled (28:27–29:15). Christmas remarks (26:39–27:18) are inspiration only, not a public event or opening announcement. The full 2026 patch remains completed and archived; current opening of the smaller pop-up remains unconfirmed. No new visitor terms or Movember total are established.
